Day Care - Cottesmore Child Development Center


This program is located on Skansie Ave.just off Hwy. 16 at Henderson Bay High School.
The hours of operation are: 6:00AM—5:30PM Monday—Friday

In partnership with Peninsula School District and Early Head Start this site provides quality child care for teen parents who are finishing High School. With parenting classes, prenatal education, employment support, child assessment and socialization groups this site provides comprehensive programming for students in the Peninsula School District, as well as, families from the community. Home visits allow parents to ask questions about their children in the privacy of their own homes. Individual support is available to all of the teen parents of children in the program.

A Family Educator is available Monday through Friday to help parents access community resources.

Early intervention services with on site therapy is available to children who qualify.

Programming that supports advocacy for children is part of the monthly agenda and classes that enhance the emotional and social well-being of the family are offered.

This site helps children of all backgrounds develop Physically, Emotionally, Socially, Intellectually, and Spiritually.
