Counseling Department

The counseling department at Henderson Bay High School strives to provide services in a variety of areas.  We believe that healthy children make better students and better students make and support healthy communities.  Students that come to Henderson Bay meet with the counselor as part of their intake process which consists of signing contracts, identifying their learning styles and matching students up with a core teacher. Students can access the counselor to help them with personal life and family issues, school issues, post secondary plans and possible alternative educational opportunities if that would best meet the needs of the student.  The Henderson Bay counselor works closely and communicates regularly with administration, teachers, other school personnel, families and the community to help ensure the success of all of our students at Henderson Bay High School.
